Yabane, designed by Keiko Kikuno, is a snuggly cowl knit in the round from the bottom up.
Recommended Yarn: DARUMA GENMOU (100% Merino Wool / 50 grams / 165 yards / 151 meters). The sample is shown in (MC) 19 Carrot: 3 balls; CC 01 Ivory: 2 balls.
Needles Required:
US 7 (4.5 mm) 24” / 60 cm (or longer) circular needle
US 10 (6.0 mm) 24” / 60 cm (or longer) circular needle
Or, needle to obtain gauge
Gauge (after blocking): 35½ stitches & 30 rows = 4”/10cm in chevron stitch on US 7 (4.5 mm) needle
