Payments Accepted
All major debit and credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.

Sales Tax
Our U.S. warehouse is located in Portland, Oregon, which has no state sales tax. Note: As of 2025, the Shop App charges state and local taxes on all applicable orders as it is a marketplace, not a storefront. Orders placed through our website will not include these taxes.

Winding Yarn
We are happy to wind your purchased yarn so that it is ready to go! Please note that wound yarn is a final sale item. Let us know which skeins you would like to be wound in the note section at checkout.

Shipping
Orders generally ship within 3 business days of placement from our warehouse in Portland, Oregon (excluding weekends and holidays). You will receive a tracking number once the shipping label has been printed. Packages are shipped in eco-friendly, recyclable, and/or biodegradable materials when possible.

Delivery times will vary depending on the shipping method chosen at checkout.

Note: Preorders of amirisu books and publications will ship before the official launch date. Orders that contain a preorder plus other items will ship as one package when everything is available.

Within the United States
Domestic orders over $100 ship free of charge! For all other orders, flat-rate pricing is available: USPS Economy, USPS Priority, and UPS Ground.

International
Rates will vary depending on location. USPS and DHL Worldwide are available for all international packages. We are required by law to state the actual contents and costs on all customs forms. Any additional customs fees that may accrue are the responsibility of the buyer.

Note on Freight Forwarders: You or your freight forwarder are responsible for all export/import compliance requirements for orders placed on amirisu-kurumi.com. If you purchase items to be shipped to a U.S. location, you (or your freight forwarder) are now considered the exporter of the items from the United States. As the exporter, you (or your freight forwarder) are solely responsible for compliance with all export and import regulations, including all U.S. export regulations and the import regulations of the destination country.

We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for lost or damaged items that you or your freight forwarder export. amirisu is not responsible for any damages, defects, or loss that occurs to items after the items are delivered to you or your freight forwarder. This means that we will not be able to provide a replacement or a refund for any lost or damaged items delivered in the U.S. and then shipped outside of the U.S.

If you think your package may be lost or delivered to the wrong address, please notify your local USPS or UPS office as soon as possible. If assistance is required to file a claim, we are more than happy to help as the shipper.

amirisu Kurumi is not responsible for any packages that are lost, misplaced, incorrectly delivered by the courier, or damaged in transit.

Returns & Exchanges
Refunds on defective products are available. If a product arrives defective, please contact us within five business days of receiving the item and before sending it back.

Exchanges for like products are accepted. Please let us know as soon as possible to begin the transaction. Only products within 30 days of the order's shipping date will be considered. The purchaser is responsible for all extra shipping costs. We cannot accept exchanges for items not in their original packaging and condition. This applies to any labels/tags and not being exposed to odors, the elements, pets, or being soiled in any way.

Items sent back without prior notification are not eligible for exchange or return and will be refused. Returns are not accepted for digital content or sale items.

We do our best to provide images that show the true colors of every product; however, colors may vary depending on the device or settings used.

Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and will never share any information collected on our site.
