Uchujin Yarn Set

This yarn set includes the yarn only. First published in the Cosmology DARUMA Collection 2022, the pattern is now available for purchase on Ravelry!

Uchujin, designed by Kiyomi Burgin, is a simple, slouchy, beret-style hat that can be worn in different ways. The knit pompom looks like a satellite or the head of an extra-terrestrial being!

Yarn Sets: DARUMA Wool Mohair 56% Mohair, 44% Merino Wool / 125 yards / 115 meters / 50 grams: S (M, L) = 1 (1, 2) balls
DARUMA GENMOU 100% Merino Wool / 165 yards / 151 meters / 50 grams: S (M, L) = 1 ball

Circumference at brim (unstretched): 17 (18¼,19¾)”/43, (46.5, 50)cm

Notes: This pattern is intended to be worn with approximately. 2-4”/5-10cm of negative ease around the brim for a snug fit. Sample colors are: Small Scarlet (12) & 02 Almond; Medium Grey (6) & 15 Green; Large Lemon (13) & 20 Reef
