Uchujin (Cosmology) Yarn Set
Uchujin (Cosmology) Yarn Set
This yarn set includes yarn only. The pattern is available in Cosmology DARUMA Collection 2022, now offered as an ebook on Ravelry!
Uchujin is a simple, slouchy, beret-style hat that can be worn in different ways. The knit pompom looks like a satellite or the head of an extra-terrestrial being. It is knit in the round from the brim to the crown. The small, spherical ball attached at the center crown is worked tightly on small DPNs and is stuffed with either scrap yarn or other lightweight filling. There is an option to create an extra fluffy fabric texture by using a mohair brush.
