Suitable for sashiko as well as hand-sewing and mending, this 100% cotton thread is available in two thicknesses: 6-ply (thick) and 4-ply (thin).

The color "Murakumo" is a mix of blue tones, and each skein is one of a kind. There is a range of blues within each skein, enjoy discovering the color shifts with each stitch.

Care of BUAISOU Indigo Products:
BUAISOU recommends gently hand washing items with detergent and lukewarm water the first 2-3 times (no bleach). Although BUAISOU’s indigo dye products have been stripped of excess dye using natural agents, there is still a possibility of color transfer with harsh rubbing or other close/vigorous interactions. Brown or yellow pigment may appear during washing, this is a chemical component unique to the indigo dye. Through repeated washing, you may remove the excess dye and be left with more vivid colors than before. This is a very special trait that sets BUAISOU’s indigo dye products apart from the rest.
