PAN Yarn Set (Metaphysics)

This yarn set includes yarn only and does not come with a pattern. Please purchase together with Metaphysics DARUMA Collection 2024.

PAN is a charming vest with a large ribbon at the waist. The sides are open so you can enjoy layering. It is knit with wool mohair, so it is light and thick, giving it a moderate casual feel. The ribbon is knit in garter stitch and eye cord edging, and the increase and decrease stitches create a beautiful shape.

The front and back of the vest are knit separately from the bottom up using back and forth stitches. Start with one twisted rib stitch, then knit the body in stockinette stitch and rib stitch the end. Reduce the number of stitches at the top of the front to knit the neckline, then knit back stitches at the top of the back to create a difference between the front and back. The stitches at the shoulders are left visible on the outside, and the ribbons that are sewn together using matching yarn are knit separately using back and forth stitches. All four are knit in garter stitch and edging with eye cord, then sewn to the inside of the vest.
