The Falkland Islands are located close to the South Pole in the South Atlantic Ocean. The wool that comes from these islands is much whiter than general wool with both a gentle softness and natural stiffness for tension. Mixing this wool with baby alpaca creates the natural color and texture found in each ball, resulting in a luxury yarn with great stitch definition.
