Pop

Pop is amirisu’s newest original yarn, released in January 2026.

Light as a feather and wonderfully soft from the moment you pick it up, Pop is made with royal baby alpaca, giving it an exceptionally luxurious feel. It's fluffy, standing pile looks almost like fur, creating a beautifully three-dimensional fabric—even in simple stockinette stitch. Thanks to its softness, Pop is ideal for accessories worn close to the skin, such as beanies, cowls, and shawls. It also works beautifully as an accent yarn—for example, in shawl sections or on cuffs and trims.

Pop is a long-pile “fur” yarn, so after knitting, some of the longer fibers may remain caught within the stitches. To bring out the full fluff, gently move the fabric in plenty of water and let it soak while the water flows around it. The movement of the water helps lift the fibers to the surface, making the fabric even fluffier.

*If you are knitting it with other yarns, please be careful of color transfer and other issues caused by different materials. In particular, color transfer and shrinkage may occur. We recommend test-washing the yarns in water before beginning the garment.
